The vampires who attacked the castle and stole the scythe have been tracked to Japan, where the local slayer is keeping a close eye on them. Unfortunately, she finds herself ambushed before backup arrives. Meanwhile, Xander and Renee track down Dracula to determine why these vampires have so many of his abilities.
